Data protection

uCardit limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office for the processing of personal data under the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), Registration No. Z9232668.

The DPA requires that uCardit limited processes personal data fairly and lawfully.  Individuals have a right to have a copy of the information held about them. If you request a copy of this information then we will deal with it promptly, and in any case within 40 days of the date of receiving it.  An administration fee of up to £10 can be charged for responding to a request.

HSBC Gateway

All orders are processed using HSBC Secure ePayments. 
When making a purchase you will be redirected to the HSBC Secure ePayments server where you will be asked to provide your personal card details.    uCardit limited does not receive or have access to any of these details. 

Secure ePayments utilises 128 bit SSL encryption when processing your transaction so that you can be confident that your confidential information is secure.

Secure ePayments also utilises new authentification security methods from Mastercard SecureCode and Verified by Visa.  These methods allow credit cardholders to authenticate themselves to their card issuer by using a unique personal code.
