uCardit Builder - quick view   Move your cursor over the following image for an overview of the different areas of the uCardit Builder application. Preview- Shows current design applied to front or back of chosen template. (Note: After changing any text, click in an adjacent text field to refresh the Preview) Template Code & Saved As- Template code on which your uCardit is based, and the name you have given the design. View- Switch between front and back view of uCardit. Format Labels and Text Independently- Click in the appropriate text field to select both the text and any corresponding label before formatting. (Note: It is not necessary to highlight text, all text within the text field will be formatted.) Font- Select between Arial and Verdana fonts. Format Text- Apply bold, italic or underline formatting. (Note: Bold formatting on small font sizes may not be reproduced properly on the screen, but will appear correctly on your uCardits.) Font Size- Adjust size of text and/or corresponding label. Font Colour- Coloured square shows the current selection. Click 'More' to select an alternative colour. Text Library- Drop down menu presents a selection of labels/text fields (organised into categories) which can be added to a template. (See "Information" for further help) Image Library- View standard and personal image galleries, upload new images, crop uploaded images, and assign backgrounds, headshots flags etc. to a template. (See "Information" for further help) AltaVista Babel Fish Translator- Provides basic text translation between English and other languages. (Note: Cut and paste translated text from Babel Fish directly into a text field.) Save As- Save a copy of the current uCardit with your own choice of name. (Note: You can also use this to base further uCardits on one of your previous designs) Save- Save changes to the current uCardit. (Note: If your design has not been saved previously using 'Save As', you will be prompted to name your design.) Label- The label as it appears on the uCardit. (Note: If the label is 'BLANK' then no visible label is shown. BLANK's can also be used to introduce spaces between lines of text.) Help- Help text is available for this label (For example: when writing dates it is preferable to write the month in words (jan, feb etc.) as number only dates can be mis-interpreted in other countries.) Text- Type or paste your personal information into the text fields. (Note: The preview is updated when you move to another text field or click elsewhere on the screen.) Order- Re-order individual text fields by clicking on the green up/down arrows alongside the field to be moved. Delete- Permanently removes the appropriate text box (and corresponding label) from the template. Reset- Removes all changes made to the template.
